Happy New Year, everyone. I’m Tomy.

This year, I want to make it a year to think about the value of traveling with stories, not limited to photogenic scenery and gourmet food.

Because I haven’t seen posts on Instagram lately. I use Instagram in order to communicate with my friends or specific influencers.

Why I do not see posts on Instagram?

It is because I only see women in bathing suits or landscapes in shades that I can tell are highly processed when I search for specific destinations with hashtags.

I follow people who post even a little bit of their true feelings. And then, search for travel destinations from there.

On Instagram, users only post photogenic pictures and they usually focus on these pictures.

On the other hand, On podcasts, users tell only their voices and have to explain why they are interested in the topic(such as tourist spots, delicious foods etc…). So, listeners can understand why they go to there, what they do, and how they feel about the trip.

Clear Reason and the Value of Stories

In these reasons, I’ve been thinking the value of sharing stories. I think the meaning of “stories” is related to recommend reasons.

I want to rely on information from people with clear reasons, and want to let people think about the value of “stories”.
